WHO WE ARE

The Shasta West Watershed Group (SWWG) focuses on natural resource restoration and protection in the areas of Western Redding, Old Shasta and Centerville. The watershed includes the following creeks of Rock Middle Salt, Jenny, Calaboose, Canyon, Olney Creeks, Linden Channel and Oregon Gulch.

 

WHAT ARE WE DOING TODAY?

We are writing a "planning document" that affects
your property and your neighborhood, and we
welcome your involvement.

 

• Our goal is to identify issues in the area known as the Shasta West Watershed. Then we'll prioritize them, and seek funding to implement restoration projects! See our PROJECTS page.

• Together we will identify and prioritize opportunities for projects such as fuel breaks, creek clean ups, tire removal fish and wildlife habitat improvements and other related opportunities.

• The watershed management plan will be used to guide future restoration and conservation efforts.
